I never planned on being a writer, and had always been an avid reader. I was devouring books left and right, but one day I just got to the point where I couldn’t find anything to spark my interest. Maybe I was in a funk, or a mood, who knows...but it led to me creating my own stories. My first series (Forged from Fate) all originated from a series of dreams I had been having for about a month straight; much like in the series with Lexi having nightmares on a day to day basis. I took that idea, drank a whole lot of wine and just started writing. 
To this day, many of my stories come to me in my sleep and writing is the perfect outlet for me to build worlds from what comes out of my subconscious.
I love writing in the Fantasy/PNR/Urban Fantasy genre because the worlds I build are limitless. Yes, sometimes I have to stick within the realms of reality which isn’t as fun but for the most part I can make whatever I want happen. 
I know as a reader it is easy to get hooked on a series and binge the heck out of it. I try my hardest to write as quickly as I can, but I’m also a moody writer. Currently I have three series in the works and each of my main characters has a very different personality. As a consequence I often pick which book I am going to work on depending on my mood for the day. If I’m feeling a little dark and broody I’m going to be writing Malachi from the Holland Broken Pack series, Sarcastic and fierce and I’ll be undergoing Skyler’s character from the Omens series. And Lexi from the Forged from Fate series...well she is all over the place but so am I... 
On top of having three series, I also have a full time job and own my own small business. I also run a little farm full of ducks and chickens and a big garden. And I have been planning my upcoming wedding. So I’ve got a pretty full plate, as well as my reading list for indie authors. So be patient, keep reading, and I’ll keep the books coming.
